Zetech College

Zetech College offers training in information technology (IT), media arts, hospitality, and business, but it is mainly known for its IT courses.

Zetech College has produced hundreds of graduates, many of whom are pursuing further studies in local and international universities.

The institution offers courses ranging from communication, ICT, engineering, hospitality, and design, at certificate, diploma, advanced diploma and degree levels.

The degree programmes are offered in collaboration with the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

The advanced diplomas, diplomas, and certificate courses are offered through accredited examining bodies such as the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM), the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), the Business Technical Education Programme (BTEP), City and Guilds, Association of Business Executives, and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Degrees

The degree programmes include Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Mass Communication, Bachelor of Purchasing and Supply Management, Bachelor of Commerce Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Information Technology, and Bachelor of Science Information Technology. It also offers diplomas in these fields.

The institution’s curriculum is frequently updated to reflect the dynamic needs of the job industry and incorporates the latest methodologies to maintain a dynamic learning environment.

The college also offers training programmes aimed at developing middle and top-level human resource, for both the public and the private sector.

It also offers programmes that are appropriate for full-time workers, given that many people go to school nowadays to improve their professional qualifications.

The college has several branches, all registered with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.

One of Zetech’s major achievements is anticipated in the year 2012, when it expects to become a full-fledged university. The new campus will be located off Thika Road.
