The primary objective of the school is capacity building for economists, bankers, and financial experts in order to meet the manpower requirements for the sound economic management and stability of the financial sector in Kenya and the region.
It seeks to be a regional centre of excellence for training of high calibre economists and financial experts required to formulate and implement policies geared towards a sustainable economic growth and a stable financial sector.
